CarryMinati AKA Ajey Nagar is an Indian YouTuber who was born on 12 June 1999 in Faridabad, Haryana. At a very young age, he loves to make videos and gives his reactions to them. He uploads commentaries, roasts, rants, and reaction videos on his YouTube channel. Before the CarryMinati channel, Ajey made a youtube channel with the name: Stealthfearzz, Addicted A1, Carry Deol where he made mimicry videos of Sunny Deol.
His YouTube channel CarryMinati was because of a running gag about Carry being in the Illuminati. He changed his name to the current one due to this joke and even got a new logo on YouTube to go with it. The logo is his icon looking like the Illuminati pyramid. He went further with the joke by beginning to end his videos with the Illuminati eye.
He also got into controversy due to this logo which people thought was concerning some terrorist activities.
His channel became famous after gaining subscribers at a rate that was even faster than other popular YouTubers like “BB Ki Vines“. Carry made many videos of this “roasting” kind, which target other Indian music videos and small rappers that are called “bakchod” by him. Later, his channel began to boom as this format of video content got famous in India.
Carry made another channel in 2017, called “Carry Is Live”, for his live-streams of games.
Talking about his achievements, Ajey had the honor of being at 10th place on the “Next Generation Leaders” list organized by TIME Magazine, to encourage young people notable for kick starting innovative career paths. CarryMinati so far has achieved the Silver and Gold play buttons from YouTube.
