Biography
Popularly known as The PewDiePie, Felix Kjellberg is one of the most famous people out there on the web, he has more than 100 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and more than 24 billion views. His PewDiePie channel is very well known for its gaming content, which is usually shot in a “Let’s Play” style. His videos in which he is playing video games while giving a very irrelevant live commentary. One of his segments “Let’s play” became extremely popular in the YouTube genre, and PewDiePie its superstar; he now also uploads videos involving live-action and animated comedy shorts.
But as he became famous day by day his behavior changed increasingly controversial. He apologized in 2012 for using the words like “gay” and “retard” which were so-called playful insults and for making jokes on a sensitive topic like rape but after he uploaded these videos containing anti-Semitic and Nazi buff, he was disowned in February 2017 by his network partner, Maker Studios which was owned by Disney. He was also disbanded from YouTube’s Red platform and the Google program. He issued an apology, claiming his humor had been misunderstood. Just as in his videos, his future also seems to be erratically unpredictable.
He cleverly made use of his popularity on the web to raise funds for various charities like the World Wildlife Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the year 2015, he published a book called “This Book Loves You”. In October 2018, he came up with a music video for one of his songs “Bitch Lasagna” which became the most viewed video on his YouTube channel.
Personal Life
He is the son of Lotta Kristine Johanna and Ulf Christian Kjellberg and also has a female sibling called Fanny. He got into a relationship with Marzia Kjellberg in the year 2011 and afterward moved to the European country of Italy to live with her and their pet dogs. They got engaged on April 27, in the year 2018, and subsequently marrying each other in August 2019.

Recently in the year 2019, his channel was head to head with the YouTube channel of the very famous Indian music label T-series, in terms of subscribers. They had almost similar subscriber count which used to fluctuate. Taking advantage of this situation many YouTubers gained money just by live-streaming the subscriber count of these two channels and gained popularity.
In December 2019, PewDiePie announced that he was taking a break from YouTube that had made him so famous.
“I am taking (a) break from YouTube next year,” he said in a video. “I wanted to say it in advance because I made up my mind. I’m tired, I’m feeling very tired. I don’t know if you can tell … early next year I’ll be away for a little while. I’ll explain that later but I wanted to give a heads up.”
